During the show Johnston will be unveiling our brand new C401 midsized sweeper. The all-new machine is powered by the latest super-clean FPT Euro 6 engine and features Johnston’s unique new 4 wheel steer system which delivers astonishing manoeuvrability, unrivalled in its class.
Thanks to a new patent-pending fan design the new sweeper delivers 15% greater suction performance than its predecessor, the C400, and now with a 10.5 tonne payload and larger water tanks can stay out on the job for longer than ever before for greatest operational efficiency.
The new sweeper now features Johnston’s clever water recirculation system to conserve water and deliver longer on-station time, as well as a brand-new easy clean system which clean out the hopper after use using special spray bars fitted behind the meshes.
The large, airy, walk-through cab allows a third seat to be fitted for a driver + 2 team configuration and has a large glass area for easy view of the sweepgear during operations.
The clever design enhancements and all-new engine, chassis, axle and suspension combine to deliver a versatile all-round Compact machine small enough and with astonishing manoeuvrability to sweep in areas with limited access, but with a high 10.5 tonne payload for longest on-station performance.
The new C401 will be on display at RWM alongside Johnston’s world-class VT651 truck mounted sweeper, its hydrostatic VS501, award-winning C201 Compact and C101 Subcompact machines, representing the wide range of outdoor sweeping equipment in Johnston’s product line-up.
