Says Hans-Georg Frey, Chairman of the Board of Management of Jungheinrich AG: "By making this decision, Deutsche Börse is honouring our company's sustained, positive development. The size of our company and our near-double-digit net sales growth in the current year make the MDAX a good place for us to be. Our inclusion will enable us to garner further interest in the Jungheinrich share. This decision by Deutsche Börse gives us additional motivation to pursue our ambitious course for growth."

“We forecast incoming orders and consolidated net sales of between 2.45 billion euros and 2.50 billion euros as well as EBIT of between 180 million euros and 185 million euros for the financial year underway. This brings our company a decisive step closer to its medium-term target of 3 billion euros in net sales,” says Dr. Volker Hues, member of the Board of Management in charge of Finance. The company will have over 12,500 people on its payroll by the end of the 2014 financial year.

Jungheinrich ranks among the world’s leading companies in the material handling equipment, warehousing and material flow engineering sectors. The company is an intralogistics service and solution provider with manufacturing operations, which offers its customers a comprehensive range of forklift trucks, logistics systems, services and advice. Jungheinrich shares are traded on all German stock exchanges.
