  • Klaas will exhibit at NordBau 2026 showcasing a broad range of aluminium cranes and aerial work platforms, emphasizing sustainable electric drive technology.

  • The fully electric K910 E crane features a 71-kW battery system enabling up to three full working days of intensive operation without recharging.

  • It offers a maximum lifting capacity of 3 tonnes (5 tonnes in two-rope operation), a reach of 27 metres, and can convert into a mobile elevating work platform with a 32-metre working height.

  • The crane's compact design with a narrow outrigger width and short wheelbase ensures secure setup and maneuverability in confined urban construction sites.

From 9 to 13 September 2026, Klaas will be exhibiting at NordBau in Neumünster, one of Northern Europe’s leading construction trade fairs. The aluminium crane manufacturer from Ascheberg will be showcasing its wide range of products there – from trailer-mounted and truck-mounted cranes with aluminium booms to inclined lifts and modern aerial work platforms. Once again, the focus of the exhibition stand will be on sustainable drive technology. At the Klaas stand N250 on Kieler Straße in the North Outdoor Area, visitors can experience the fully electric K910 E with its battery-powered electric drive up close.

K910 E – Fully electric performance for the construction site

With the K910 E, Klaas has developed an electric crane in the 18-tonne class that combines modern battery technology, high efficiency and practical functionality. Thanks to its innovative 400-volt battery technology, the truck-mounted crane sets new standards in the field of electrically powered crane systems.

At the heart of the K910 E is a 71-kW energy storage system, which enables intensive crane operation over three full working days without the need for recharging. Even when operating from the platform, extensive use with a high frequency of movement is possible over several working days without recharging.

The crane is powered by a high-performance electric motor capable of performing several crane functions simultaneously, thereby enabling particularly efficient operation. The electric hoist ensures additional energy efficiency: as the load is lowered, it recovers energy and feeds it back into the system.

The K910 E also impresses with its high flexibility when it comes to charging. Depending on the available infrastructure, the crane can be charged either from a 230-volt socket or via a high-voltage connection.

Despite its fully electric drive, the K910 E offers high performance: the maximum lifting capacity is three tonnes; in two-rope operation, it can even lift or move loads of up to five tonnes. The double-telescopic hydraulic jib can be extended to a length of 12.15 metres, even under load.

With a hook load of 500 kg, the K910 E achieves a reach of 27 metres at a height of 23.5 metres. This makes the crane suitable for transporting materials to the rear of roofs and building sides of taller blocks of flats.

Furthermore, the K910 E can be converted into a mobile elevating work platform. Fitted with the HA 3/4500 rotating work platform from Klaas, it achieves a reach of 29.5 metres and a working height of 32 metres with a payload of 300 kilograms.

Another notable feature is the crane’s compact design. Despite its performance specifications, the maximum outrigger width is just 5.94 metres. This means the K910 E can be set up securely even in confined spaces. A compact truck with a wheelbase of just 4.13 metres also ensures excellent manoeuvrability and makes day-to-day work on urban construction sites easier.
