KOBELCO USA Expands US Manufacturing Team

KOBELCO Construction Machinery USA progresses the development of its excavator production facility in South Carolina with the employment of Linsey Cooke as Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)/Human Resource (HR) Specialist.

In her new position, Cooke will be responsible for creating, executing and maintaining a comprehensive health and safety program in compliance with State, Federal and local regulations at the KOBELCO manufacturing facility. She will perform hygiene sampling, risk analysis and safety inspections on an on-going basis as well as develop and coordinate safety training programs. In addition to EHS responsibilities, Cooke will assist in the delivery of the facility’s HR plans, including: new employee orientation, benefits administration and employee engagement and relations.

Helping Cooke succeed in her new role is her extensive background and knowledge of EHS and HR administration in the manufacturing environment. Cooke brings with her to KOBELCO over seven years of experience establishing and maintaining OSHA compliant facilities. She is well-versed in the preventative fields associated with plant operations, including: occupational hazards, industrial hygiene, safety inspections and training, ergonomics assessment and worker’s compensation.
