Kramer roadshow headed 3,400 km across Romania - Two machines on tour

A semi-trailer truck from the lot of Romanian Kramer dealer MUNAX S.R.L. in Timisoara started its tour across Romania on 12th September 2016. It carried two machines from Kramer’s Green Series specially designed for agriculture: tele wheel loader KL30.8T and compact telehandler KT276. Both these models were introduced to numerous interested parties in the following two weeks – with an extremely positive response.

The roadshow included twelve stations in all, all of them agricultural holdings, which MUNAX could attract for participation in the roadshow. In addition to local farmers, several other invited customers and interested parties had the opportunity to explore both Kramer products on-site. And ideal conditions were provided directly on the farms to closely showcase and test both the machines for everyday application: the dung was vigorously cleared out and sprinkled, while grain and seedlings were also loaded. The machines could also be used to transport pallets and big bags, to stack straw bales, to level the yard area, to perform earthwork and to stock feed.

In all, over 100 visitors of the roadshow were very impressed with this versatile range of applications, which was paired with a tremendous manoeuvrability through the all-wheel steering of Kramer machines. The steering system made it easy primarily for unskilled drivers to cope with the machine and to manoeuvre independently. More than anything else, agriculture and dairy farming are distinct in Romania, and the Kramer KL30.8T and Kramer KT276 could safely accomplish all the involved work with few work cycles. Thus, in addition to numerous specific sales projects, contracts were also concluded directly at the roadshow: a contract was awarded for two type KT276 telehandlers. This machine type, brand new in the product portfolio as the following model of the successful KT256, is a compact telehandler, which achieves a lift height of 6 metres at 2.7 tonnes payload. Thereby, it remains compact with width and height both under 2 metres and can still score with a high ground clearance.

The route led the roadshow squad initially to the southern border of Romania along Timisoara to the West, in Tufesti about 1,000 km to the east. In the second week, the roadshow continued along the north arch - and about six further stations were covered - and then back again to the starting point. Hans-Peter Kärcher, Market Development Manager of Kramer, accompanied this stage and was very impressed with the dealer’s organisation: “Munax has found a great way with the roadshow to strengthen awareness of the Kramer brand in Romania and to quickly address potential customers – primarily since trade fairs are rarely visited in this country. The next roadshow has already been planned with three other Kramer models as a result of Munax’s great success.”
