Kubota announces the launch of three new articulated wheel loaders

Kubota has expanded its extensive range of articulated wheel loaders with the launch of a new telescopic loader, the RT105T-2 and two new electric loaders, the RT210-2e & RT220-2e.

The RT105T-2 is based on the RT100-2 with a bigger engine (D902 Kubota – 25HP versus D702 Kubota – 20HP), and a telescopic arm allowing a maximum height at hinge pin of 2820mm versus 2170mm. It will be an asset for landscapers, farmers or horses barns requiring more reach, lifting height while still be able to work in narrow jobsites like the RT100-2.

The RT210-2e and RT220-2e are the first electric articulated wheel loaders of our range. They are based on the 2 diesel machines RT210-2 and RT220-2 on which we replaced the Kubota engine by an electric system composed of 2 electric motors (one for moving the machine and one working hydraulics) and a battery pack.

The RT210-2e will be particularly interesting for horses barns and farmers thanks to his lifting height while the RT220-2e will be requested by construction and rental companies thanks to his lifting capacity. They will be perfectly adapted for jobsites requiring low noise and no CO2 emissions.

Mathieu Bourson, Product manager for Kubota Europe, said: “We’re pleases to introduce three new models into our wheel loaders range. The new RT105T-2 opens the segment of telescopic loaders for us and will be followed soon by another machine. For the RT210-2e and RT220-2e, it is the second range of Kubota machine after our tracked dumpers that we are starting to electrify. As for our diesel mini excavator range, Kubota aims to be the market leader for Zero Emission machines.”
