Founded in 1985, the Inverness based company employs six staff and is now a key Kubota agricultural dealer for the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, offering customers a range of Kubota’s L Series and M Series tractors, as well as the company’s latest utility vehicle, the RTV-X900.

Situated in the village of Ardersier, 10 miles to the east of Inverness, the agricultural and horticultural sales and servicing company’s proximity to the Scottish Highlands and various islands off the west coast, allows Kubota to reach customers in areas which were previously difficult to supply to.

Doug Beattie, Dealer Principal at Farm and Forestry Limited, commented: “Kubota is a highly respected company that produces extremely reliable products which are already well known and popular with our customers.

“The L and M Series tractors offer exactly what we need to develop and grow our business in the markets that we operate in and we are delighted to also have the RTV range of utility vehicles in our line up.

“Kubota is a very dynamic company offering excellent dealer support and back up, so we are more than happy to be working alongside them. We’ve already had extremely positive feedback on the machinery and are really looking forward to showcasing Kubota products at our forthcoming agricultural shows.”

Rob Edwards, Business Development Manager for Kubota’s Agricultural division, said: “It’s fantastic to be working with Doug and his team at Farm and Forestry Equipment. The aim of our partnership is to extend our agricultural offering across the whole of Scotland, particularly in parts such as the Highlands and Islands

“The company is highly respected in the far corners of Scotland already, as farming is such an essential vocation in those parts, and demand for Kubota machinery has always been high. Through our partnership with Farm and Forestry Equipment we can meet customer requirements and introduce our latest machinery to the wider Scottish market.”
