  • L&N Platforms has added a new 46-metre Bronto S46XDT aerial platform to their fleet as part of ongoing renewal.

  • The company plans to further expand with a 38-metre Bronto S38XDT expected in early 2026.

  • The new platform is optimized for window cleaning in dense urban areas, offering reach, stability, and compactness.

  • L&N values the reliability and strong service support from Bronto Skylift, reinforcing their long-term partnership.

L&N Platforms, an English powered access equipment provider offering a range of access services with a main focus on window cleaning, recently visited us to check up on their latest aerial investment, a new Bronto S46XDT aerial platform. This new Bronto is part of their ongoing fleet renewal process and owners Lee Roebuck and Nicky Francis are already eyeing their next aerial platform, a 38-metre Bronto S38XDT scheduled to be delivered early 2026.

Steady growth

L&N visited Bronto headquarters earlier this year in February to inspect the first new Bronto platform in their fleet renewal cycle. That visit marked the beginning of a strategic renewal plan designed to introduce newer, more capable units into their operations. According to Roebuck, the company is on a steady course and ready for potential growth as market opportunities emerge.

“This new 46-metre unit will be the fifth Bronto in our fleet and we’re excited to be able to upgrade our older Brontos for new ones” Lee Roebuck, Director, L&N Platforms

Designed for dynamic operations in all circumstances, the Bronto S46XDT will be used primarily for L&N’s window-cleaning operations. With its reach, stability and compact design, the platform offers valuable flexibility and versatility for navigating dense urban environments.

“This particular 18 tonne chassis configuration works very well for L&N and it’s ideal for the work they do in London” Ian James, Sales Manager, Bronto Skylift

Reliability backed by service

For L&N Platforms, one of the biggest drivers behind continuing to invest in Bronto aerial platforms is the confidence they have in the reliability of the unit and the support behind them. Since their last visit earlier in the year, Roebuck reports that their aerial operations have run seamlessly with no unexpected interruptions or complications.

“We’ve had no issues whatsoever and the service has always been spot on.” Lee Roebuck, Director, L&N Platforms

This dependable performance reinforces L&N’s long-term partnership with Bronto Skylift and their commitment to keeping their fleet modern and ready for the future.
