For more than 40 years, Sgolastra s.r.l. has been an undisputed point of reference in the field of mechanics. This innovative company, with headquarters in Contrada Marignano 12/a, in Potenza Picena (Mace- rata) specialises in particular in the production of hydraulic cylinders. For more than 20 years, Sgolastra has also produced an extensive range of oil drilling accessories, including hydraulic clamps for micropyles rigs and casing oscillators, cement grout, injection pumps, hydraulic packers, tie rod pliers and match more.

Within the broad range of alternatives available to customers are first and foremost the hydraulic clamps, a genuine feather in the company’s cap. These drilling accessories are clearly distinguishable from other tools available on the market. Indeed, they consist of a “double slewing ring”: this is a system for swivelling and breaking out drilling rods, which is facilitated by a double guide that ensures the rotation by approximately 30 degrees and the reduction of any mechanical play by well over 50%. This highly effective and innovative system is a genuine exclusive Sgolastra design - in fact the company has registered the patent at national level. Sgolastra also pays particular attention to the design phase.

The objective is to guarantee its partners quality, product durability, specialist technical support and on-time deliveries. From this perspective, Sgolastra has grown considerably, using  CAD 2D and, subsequently, CAD 3D stations connected the PLM.

The company’s partnership with the Marche Polytechnic University has given rise to the innovative post-inserted anchor called Thoro. This system is designed to perform the inspection and mechanical assessment of in-situ concrete by means of what is referred to as the "pull-out" test.

The indication "made in Italy" constitutes a valid guarantee as to the quality of the work performed by the company: its products are in fact completely designed and

manufactured in-house at the plant in Macerata. Thanks to the standardisation and specialisation of the products it offers, Sgolastra has earned itself a leading position in the market, establishing partnerships and profitable collaborations with customers all over the world.
