LECTURA attended the SaMoTer B2Press event in Verona

We were invited to the SaMoTer B2Press event prior to the trade fair SaMoTer 2020 to see the innovation award ceremony and attend one-to-one meetings with construction industry leaders in order to receive exclusive news about their exhibitions at the trade fair, that will take place in Verona, March 21-25.

The Pre-SaMoTer event started with innovation award ceremony on the evening of January 23. The jury, comprised of experts in the sector, elected thirteen winners in the following categories: wheel loaders, telehandlers, hydraulic excavators, attachments, plant, software applications and industrial applications. Moreover, the jury also awarded three special mentions and a Design Prize.

The following day was all about one-to-one meetings between international journalists and representatives of construction machinery manufacturers at Veronafiere Conference Center.

We talked to many companies from various business industries and therefore bring you a quick glimpse of what can the visitors expect at SaMoTer 2020:

Amman

The company will present full line of products, consisting of light compaction equipment, pavers, rollers such as ARR 1585 Trench Roller. Moreover, the exhibition will feature innovative environmental and recycling solutions.

Bobcat

A complete range of mini excavators will be shown including a fully electric model E10e. Bobcat will also present the A-SAC (Advanced Selectable Auxiliary Control) System that won a Technical Innovation Award.

CIFA

A flagship truck-mounted pumps and mixer pumps will be showcased. This includes the K47H and Steeltech K42L truck-mounted pumps as well as the MK28L-5” truck mixer pump equipped with new safety features.

Epiroc

Visitors will find a range of hydraulic attachments for the demolition industry such as pulverizers, cutters and hydraulic breakers. Epiroc will also present new SB1102 hydraulic breaker for excavators or combi cutter CC 1600.

Hyundai

A whole portfolio of 12 construction machines will be shown with strong focus on wheel loaders. The highlights will be the award winning HL960A stage V wheel loader, new HX300ANL crawler excavator and a 1-tonne electric mini excavator.

JMG Cranes

The manufacturer will exhibit electric mobile cranes customized for indoor work, including a new prototype. Focusing on digitalization, JMG’s pick and carry cranes are a compromise between big cranes and forklifts.

Komatsu Rete Italia

The exhibition will present a preview of stage V machines and iMC machines with semi-automatic control under the motto "Welcome to the future". Komatsu will show 35 machines in total, including new 6-ton PC58 mini excavator or WA475 wheel loader.

Liebherr

The highlight will be L 586 XPower®, a winner of the SaMoTer Innovation Award, with active personnel detection. Liebherr will showcase 15 machines in total; other wheel loaders, wheeled excavators, telehandlers or dozers.

Manitowoc

The company will exhibit the GRT655L and RT550E rough terrain cranes from Grove as well as Hup 32-27 and IGO 21 self-erecting tower cranes from the Potain brand. Moreover, visitors will have an opportunity to see the MDT219 top slewing crane.

Merlo

Visitors will have the opportunity to examine the latest range of products: the E-Worker.  This 100% electric managed machine combines compactness with safety provided by a traditional telehandler, ensuring 8 hours of working autonomy.

NLMK

Two main products will be exhibited: Quard® and Quend® quenched and tempered steel plates. The Quard® steel is suitable for mining and quarrying or recycling, whereas the Quend® suits better lifting, handling or transport industries.

Oilsafe

The main highlight of the exhibition will be the Clean Cabinet project, winning the Industrial Applications award. It is designed to extract and collect industrial contaminants from engines, valves or pumps via a flushing system combined with pressuring rinsing.

Perlini

Two flagship rigid dump trucks will be showcased ranging from 40 and 65 t classes: the DP 405 WD, and DP 705, both designed for applications in mines and quarries. Trucks are equipped with new Scania Stage V engines and electronic transmission control.

Promove

The company will present new demolition attachments and services. New XP600 and XP200 hydraulic breakers will complete the high-performance pressurized range. Moreover, Promove will launch a new range of fix and rotating pulverizers.

Sampierana

The company will cover all three main sectors of its business: track undercarriage models, spare parts for undercarriages and Eurocomach branded earthmoving machines. This includes a new compact roller or a 6-ton midi excavator 65TR with triple boom. 

Simex

Visitors can take a look at the award-winning TFC 400 milling head attachment designed for excavating in narrow trenches to lay pipes, conduits and ducts. Simex will also present the second cutter head TFC 600 and a new range of screening buckets.

Trevi Benne

A total number of 8 attachments will be exhibited, covering the whole range of Trevi Benne products. The company will present a brand-new model of recycling/demolition scrap shears (4 ton class) featuring an advanced knife system.

ZainoMotore

A new solution for 1 to 2-ton mini excavators is an equipment that can be mounted to an excavator of any brand name turning the machine into a hybrid (400V battery), designed to allow works in places where smoke and noise are not tolerated.
