LECTURA Flash Survey - Workwear

Safety first! That is a basic rule at every single construction site. Construction workers and other personnel are required to wear protective workwear in order to minimize the risk of injuries at the jobsite. LECTURA conducted another flash survey and explored the most popular workwear brands among our professional visitors. Which manufacturers of protective clothing does our audience prefer? Check the full results!

General results:

1. The most popular workwear brand is currently Caterpillar that was chosen by more than 46% of respondents. The second place goes to Dickie’s (9%) and the third rank is occupied by Helly Hansen (5%).

2. This question gave us an insight into what clothing items are our respondents required to wear. It is no big surprise that the majority of 19% respondents are required to wear boots/shoes, followed by pants (13%) and gloves (12%).

3. Frequent slippage (20%) and challenging temperature conditions (19%) were the most frequent answers. Nevertheless, other options such as biologically harmful environment or severe noise areas also occurred.

4. Most respondents (51%) chose individual purchase whereas only 32% receives the clothing directly from their employer.

5. On the scale from 1 for no protection to 7 for absolute protection, the mean was about 4.97.
