LIFTCAM FOR INCREASED SAFETY AND ERGONOMICS ON LIFT TRUCKS

As of now, TVH - Thermote & Vanhalst will introduce liftCam in its assortment, the wireless camera system for industrial use. The Swedish Luda Elektronik developed the flexible and maintenance-free system for lift trucks and other industrial machines, and found in TVH the perfectly placed partner for the worldwide distribution of liftCam (with the exception of Sweden). The pre-launch of the brand-new system took place at IMHX 2013, the intralogistics fair in Birmingham.

Safe comfort

Installing LiftCam onto a lift truck is rewarding. The increase in safety and comfort when moving pallets is considerable. The lift truck driver e.g. doesn't need to turn his head as much when reversing. This not only results in a lower risk of backaches, but also reduces the risk of hitting someone or something. Result: reduced stress for the driver and no more damaged goods.

Wireless transfer

Contrary to existing systems, the transfer from the camera to the monitor isn't analogue. The wireless digital transfer of the liftCam rules out interference or warped images. The camera is powered by high-capacity batteries and automatically engages when reversing. One system can connect up to 4 cameras, and thanks to the split-screen function all cameras can be viewed simultaneously.

Easy installation

The installation of the liftCam camera and monitor only takes 5 minutes. While the camera and the battery pack are held in place by strong magnets, the monitor is fitted to the lift truck by means of a bracket. Cables, and so also special cable reels, are not required. If necessary, cameras can be moved quickly or the system can easily be uninstalled.

The advantages are clear: the liftCam couples a high functionality to a low purchase, installation and maintenance cost.
