The "InnovaRSE" seal accredits Linden Comansa as an organization that works with Sustainability-aligned practices
Linden Comansa (Construcciones Metalicas Comansa S.A.) has begun to implement a programme of Corporate Social Responsibility in its management system. With this plan, Linden Comansa aims to integrate social, economic and environmental concerns in its activities and in its relations with a market which is increasingly conscious with all these issues.
To implement this programme of Corporate Social Responsibility, Linden Comansa has chosen the "InnovaRSE" management system, driven by the Spanish authorities and based on international standards. This tool, which will help Linden Comansa to incorporate aspects of sustainability in its strategy in the medium and long term, is based on a model of accreditation with a seal with three colours that indicate the different stages of the plan: Diagnosis, Action Plan and Improvement Cycle.
Linden Comansa has already obtained the first seal, of Diagnosis, with a grade of B thanks to 18 "good practices" that were already carried out for long, like the waste management, or work and family life reconciliation measures. This means that Corporate Social Responsibility was already present in the Strategy, Values and Principles of Linden Comansa (its DNA) before implementing this system, being the Environment one of its strengths.
Linden Comansa has developed an Action Plan with real objectives that will facilitate to get the second seal soon. Throughout this 2015, all these objectives will be implemented towards achieving the third seal by 2016, which will not mean the end of the programme, but the beginning of the Continuous Improvement Cycle.
This new recognition joins other first-level certifications already obtained by Linden Comansa, like the ISO 14001:2004 for Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001:2007 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 9001:2008 for Quality Management System.
