  • Magni TH launches a Mild Hybrid aerial platform range combining an 18.2 kW Kubota diesel engine with a lithium-ion battery for improved fuel efficiency and operational flexibility.

  • The range includes articulated boom models for obstacle-rich environments, telescopic boom models for precision and reach, and rough terrain scissor lifts with high load capacity and platform space.

  • Working heights vary from 15 to over 24 meters, with load capacities up to 680 kg and configurations supporting multiple operators.

  • These machines target diverse sectors such as construction, industrial maintenance, plant engineering, and outdoor logistics, offering a balanced solution between diesel and fully electric platforms.

Magni TH introduces the new Mild Hybrid powertrain for aerial platforms, designed to offer a new balance between performance, reduced fuel consumption, and operational flexibility. The concept behind the range is clear: to provide a strategic solution between traditional diesel machines and fully electric ones, maintaining high performance while introducing smarter energy management.

The Mild Hybrid system combines an 18.2 kW Kubota diesel engine with a lithium-ion battery pack, with the two energy sources working in synergy to efficiently manage the available power. This translates into tangible benefits for operators and rental companies: lower fuel consumption compared to diesel-only solutions, greater versatility of use and a machine suited to different working environments, even where energy efficiency is an increasingly important factor.

The range consists of three families. The MHAB articulated models include the MHAB16RT, MHAB18RT, MHAB20RT, MHAB22RT and MHAB24RT, with working heights ranging from 16.27 m to 24.27 m and load capacities of up to 320 kg; the articulated boom enables the machine to clear obstacles and operate in complex areas, while maintaining stability thanks to its low centre of gravity.

The MHTB telescopic models include the MHTB16RT, MHTB18RT, MHTB20RT, MHTB22RT and MHTB24RT, with working heights ranging from 16.33 m to 24.20 m and load capacities of up to 320 kg. This range is ideal where horizontal reach, precision and direct access at heights are required.

The range is completed by the MHS1523RT and MHS1823RT rough terrain scissor lift models, designed to combine high load capacity and productivity. The MHS1523RT model offers a working height of 15 m, a load capacity of 680 kg and can accommodate up to 7 operators; the MHS1823RT reaches 18 m, with a load capacity of 680 kg and up to 4 occupants. These solutions are particularly suitable for tasks that require platform space, equipment and multiple operators working simultaneously.

In terms of applications, the Mild Hybrid range is used across numerous sectors. The articulated models are ideal for construction sites, industrial maintenance, plant engineering and work in obstacle-rich areas, where the ability to „clear“ structures is crucial. The telescopic models are suited to façades, construction, installations and maintenance at heights where reach and precision are required. The rough terrain scissor lifts, on the other hand, are ideal for construction sites, outdoor logistics, industrial installations and maintenance over large areas, thanks to their combination of high load capacity, robustness and platform working space.

With this range, Magni TH strengthens its offering in the aerial work platform sector, providing a practical solution for those seeking efficiency, performance and operational flexibility in a single machine. A range designed for today’s aerial work, with a keen eye on the future needs of the market.
