“We are very happy to work on one of the most important LNG export projects on the Gulf Coast” said Robert Roest, Sales Director of Louisiana at Mammoet. “By contracting Mammoet as main supplier for the lifting and transport equipment, the project will save significant time due to central coordination that leads to optimization of all engineered heavy lifting and transport activities”.

As part of this contract, Mammoet will be responsible for supplying over 70 cranes ranging from 25 to 800 tons along with a number of Self Propelled Modular Trailers (SPMT). Over the course of the 42 month project, Mammoet will be using its expertise as an industry leader to assist in constructing one of the largest LNG export terminals in the US.

Mammoet has gained this expertise in LNG construction projects not only in the USA, but also with major LNG projects in for example Australia and the Middle East.
