At the 14th International Trade Fair for Distribution, Materials Handling and Information Flow - LogiMAT (March 8th to 10th 2016) in Stuttgart - Jungheinrich is showcasing its WMS Series 2 entry-level warehouse management system specifically targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that want to manage their warehouses professionally.

Based on standardised, field-tested processes, the WMS Series 2 handles all basic logistics functionalities from incoming to outgoing goods. In addition to a comprehensive master data management system and periodic inventory function, the WMS Series 2 offers numerous other central control functions. The HOST interface included in the package facilitates smooth communication with the customer's existing system environment.

Thanks to standardised processes and Jungheinrich's extensive experience in project management, the WMS Series 2 can be rolled out at the customer's facility in just a few weeks.

Optional features include returns handling, a number of different label and receipt printing functions and multi-client functionality. The standard interfaces, for example for warehouse navigation, the automatic LRK lift racking system for trays or the PRK vertical Paternoster racking system, mean new functions or storage systems can be up and running within a short period of time.

Depending on customer requirements, Jungheinrich offers complete solutions from a single source. Jungheinrich with its diverse project experience is at the customer's side in an advisory capacity at every stage of the roll out, and assures successful project completion by providing optional services, such as installing a Wi-Fi wireless data communications infrastructure, installing WMS clients or labelling rack spaces.
