Three decades of innovation, passion, and strong partnerships: Manitou Deutschland GmbH looks back on an all-round successful anniversary celebration. On Thursday, June 25, 2026, the company celebrated its 30th anniversary with a large-scale “Manitou Festival” on its own company grounds in Friedrichsdorf. Despite extreme midsummer temperatures of up to 39 degrees Celsius, numerous dealers, customers, friends, families, and representatives from rental companies accepted the invitation to properly celebrate three decades of innovative power.

Since its founding in 1996, Manitou Germany has developed into a cornerstone within the global sales structure of the French Manitou Group. From its modern headquarters located directly off the A5 motorway in Friedrichsdorf, the subsidiary manages machine sales and service for the entire DACH region. Managing Director Peter Wildemann also celebrated a personal milestone anniversary during the event: he has now been leading the German subsidiary for exactly ten years of continuous growth.

Exclusive highlight at the opening: The Limited Edition

Following the official opening of the festival by Peter Wildemann, the day´s highly anticipated surprise immediately followed: the ceremonial unveiling of an exclusive special edition. The MLT 742-140 V+ telehandler was presented in an edition strictly limited to 30 units, finished entirely in elegant black. Equipped with refined design details, this extraordinary model instantly drew the eyes of the attending visitors and symbolizes the premium standards of the brand.

Machine power, innovations, and special solutions live in action

On a large demonstration area, spectators experienced the versatility of the machines in construction and agricultural applications. For the construction sector, the team demonstrated the full power of the electric MT 625 e model as well as the MT 930. In addition, the MRT 2660 was remotely maneuvered and securely stabilized to showcase maximum precision while hitching, lifting, and rotating a compact loader. During the agricultural demonstration, the MLT 850 impressively showed how large quantities of green waste can be moved. The compact MLT 420 presented how quickly and cleanly big bags can be filled and transported. Thanks to the rapid changing of various attachments, the immense flexibility for both industries was impressively demonstrated.

Apart from the regular demo areas, the rotating telehandler MRT 2660 e stood out as an independent highlight. It safely elevated enthusiastic visitors, offering a breathtaking view across the festival grounds all the way to the Frankfurt skyline and the Taunus area.

Special solutions for rescue operations

A particular crowd magnet was the seamless interaction between the machines and the Bad Homburg Volunteer Fire Department. In a spectacular live demonstration, the performance of an MLT 741-140 V+, specially equipped for disaster control, was showcased.

Festival vibes, food trucks and public viewing

Beyond the demonstrations, the outdoor area delivered true festival vibes. A specially designated area featuring a bouncy castle and human foosball guaranteed top-tier entertainment for guests. The culinary offerings left nothing to be desired: a food truck supplied visitors with fresh grilled specialties, while ice cream provided the perfect refreshment in the high summer heat. The musical highlight was the performance of the eight-piece regional cover band "Keyout," who thrilled the crowd with energetic rock and pop hits, creating an exuberant atmosphere across the grounds. In the late evening, guests gathered to watch the World Cup match between the German national team and Ecuador during a public viewing event, bringing the day to a relaxed close.

Despite a year of global personnel changes at the corporate level, Manitou Germany impressively demonstrated with this festival the immense cohesion within its own dealer network and its deep commitment to its partners, customers, and fans.
