Manitowoc appoints new Potain dealer in Russia

Newly created company and partner of the Rentakran Group, Capital Crane LLC, has been appointed as an official dealer for Potain cranes in Russia, distributing both top-slewing and self-erecting cranes.

Capital Crane is based in Moscow and utilizes Rentakran’s existing workshop, covering 400 m2, as well as their own spare parts stock. The company will offer a number of services including sales for new and used Potain tower cranes. It also has facilities in Krasnodar (South of Russia), Ekaterinburg (Ural Mountain region) and intends to develop activity in St Petersburg.

Jean-Claude Doucene, Manitowoc sales director in Russia, said: "We are extremely happy to have a second dealer in Russia distributing Potain cranes. I am confident we will have a strong partnership with Capital Crane, and we expect to increase our presence in this vast market as a result. Capital Crane also holds an ample stock of spare parts and is staffed by skilled maintenance technicians so we can ensure our customers are welltaken care of."

Customer services that Capital Crane will provide include crane installation plans, supervision of crane erection, full crane erection, trouble shooting and maintenance with qualified technicians.
