‘Match & Meet’ Service returns to Agritechnica 2015

After a successful debut at the last Agritechnica, DLG is once again offering the ‘Match & Meet’ Service at Agritechnica, 10-14 November 2015 (preview days 8 and 9 November). As its name suggests, this service is geared towards helping visitors find the right exhibitor(s) through an online product and/or service matching platform. The service is created for Systems & Components, a section at Agritechnica dedicated to systems, components and spare parts.

Using an online database of exhibitor profile information, visitors to Agritechnica will be able to identify potential partners from around the world. This online database will be available from mid-September. For exhibitors and visitors at Agritechnica, the ‘Match & Meet’ service opens up a valuable new channel for targeted communication with interesting business contacts before, during and after the show.

This intelligent online service allows visitors to contact exhibitors. The use of profile data enables participants to find new business contacts and make preparations ahead of their visit to Hanover.

How does it work?

From mid- September, interested parties can complete their online profile on the dedicated ‘Match & Meet’ website, with details of their products, services and areas of interest. Detailed profiles completed in line with the predefined criteria enable participants to describe their companies and products so that potential visitors can easily find them.

“Feedback from the last Agritechnica, which was the first time the service debuted, has been positive and encouraging, says Matthias Lech, Match & Meet project manager. “Users of the service who include both exhibitors and visitors, report that they are better able to plan their time at Agritechnica as this service helps them plan their meetings beforehand. The service also provides a much more targeted approach to business matchmaking and networking, thereby increasing their overall business efficiency and achieving their goals of making the right contact in a shorter time,” adds Lech.

Once online contact is established meetings are arranged on the exhibitors’ stands.

Benefits:

  • Initiate online contact with potential business partners

  • Set up meetings with new business partners effectively

  • Network before, during and after the fair

  • Free-of-charge service

The Match & Meet international online platform is a free service provided by Agritechnica organisers DLG. A valid entrance ticket to Agritechnica is required to take part in the face-to-face meetings on site. English is the standard business language used.
