Merlo’s popular range of Panoramic telehandlers now includes the P40.13PLUS. This high capacity telehandler, with a load capacity of 8,800 lbs, has a lift height of 42’6, a reach of 28’3” and the added benefit of independent, front axle mounted stabilizers.
Boom side-shift, for precision load placement, and frame leveling, for greater machine safety, are standard, and can be engaged with or without stabilizers in use. Merlo telehandlers are known for their compact footprint and the P40.13PLUS is no exception even when stabilizers are deployed. Lighter in mass than similar machines (unladed weight is 20,500 lbs.) the P40.13PLUS offers high ground clearance, hydrostatic transmission, 115HP Deutz engine, and the Merlo Tac-lock system for simplified attachment change out.
The stabilizers are designed to act independently of each other. On uneven ground, this feature ensures higher stability and continuous productivity.
The modular design of the P40.13PLUS cab, with its “Plug & Play” electronics, offers unobstructed views ensuring an operator has the load and machine surroundings in view at all times. The cab offers a wide split door, spacious interior with AC/heat, ergonomic seating, multifunctional electronic joystick, and simplified interfaces. Boom side-shift, frame leveling, and stabilizer deployment are only a button away from the joystick, ensuring seamless operator control.
The P40.13PLUS is equipped with the Merlo MCDC, an operational safety software program. In real time, the MCDC automatically recognizes attachments, monitors boom extension, angle, and load weight. The load diagram is displayed on a large LCD to guide the operator in efficient and safe machine operation. Operational options are available to meet specific job requirements. Compact and nimble, the Merlo P40.13PLUS guarantees performance, greater reliability and better safety features on every job.
