Metso launches new website: unique knowledge sharing platform

Metso has launched its new global website. The site features entirely renewed commercial content for Metso's customer industries including mining, aggregates, oil & gas and other process industries. The corporate section brings investor information and company essentials within easier reach than ever, in both English and Finnish. A Finnish language version of the key commercial content is also now available to our Finnish customers.

"We are very excited about our new website. The content concept was re-thought thoroughly, and the end result is a dynamic and world-class website centered on the topics that are important for our customers and other key stakeholders. The site is easy to use and it features a wealth of engaging content. It showcases the way we work with our customers: sharing and learning closely together to achieve unique results. We are transforming fast into a more focused, market-driven company," explains Urs Pennanen, Senior Vice President, Customer and Marketing Operations at Metso.

"Our customers played a strong role in the formation of the new website through feedback and - thanks to some very generous individuals - through giving their time for testing the new designs. We've shown what kind of results Metso people can achieve by combining creativity, determination and listening to our customers. We now offer 24/7 easy access to mining, aggregates, oil & gas cases, videos and product images, downloadables, improved search tools, as well as the overall cleaner look and feel," says Richard Farkas, Director, Marketing Channels Development at Metso.
