  • Moldtech has installed two vertical battery moulds in Germany for residential construction projects.

  • The manual battery moulds are designed to produce versatile concrete elements, including panels and pillars.

  • These moulds can also create smaller structural components such as balconies and eaves, enhancing residential design.

  • Precast concrete components offer durability, low maintenance, and improved thermal and acoustic insulation.

  • Moldtech's solutions support sustainable construction with low CO2 emission concrete mixes.

After an intense exploration of the German market and years of commercial effort, we have successfully established ourselves in a highly competitive and demanding environment, highlighting our capabilities and the high quality of our products in this important European region.

The company has delivered its first moulds in the country, combining versatility and performance for the production of concrete panels in the residential sector.

Our client’s construction projects face high pressure in terms of quality, deadlines, and costs. Our client has been producing, delivering, and assembling prefabricated structural components for their customers in Germany for over 50 years. Focusing on sustainable solutions, all their precast plants use concrete mixes with low CO2 emissions, actively contributing to resource conservation.

A manual battery mould with two lanes measuring 13.5 x 1.25 was supplied. It is designed to simultaneously produce two precast concrete elements with variable cross-sections. The mould consists of a frame, a central fixed panel, movable side panels, interchangeable base supports, and shutters at the ends that shape the manufactured piece.

Moldtech’s manual battery mould will not only be used for the production of concrete panels but is also designed to produce pillars, expanding its versatility and application in residential projects.

Concrete pillars are fundamental structural elements in building construction, as they support vertical loads and distribute the structure´s weight to the foundations. With this manual battery mould, pillars can be produced with precision and efficiency, resulting in high-quality components that meet strict structural requirements.

In addition to their use in pillar production, these moulds allow for the creation of smaller, more detailed elements such as balconies, eaves, and other structural components that are essential in residential design. Balconies, for example, not only add aesthetic and functional value to a building, but also require precision in their fabrication to ensure safety and stability.

Precast concrete components produced with manual battery moulds and intended for the residential sector are an increasingly popular solution in modern construction. These components offer a range of both aesthetic and functional benefits, making them an attractive option for developers, architects, and builders in residential projects.

In terms of durability, they are extremely resistant to adverse weather conditions such as humidity, wind, heat, and cold, contributing to reduced long-term maintenance costs. Additionally, they maintain their appearance and functionality over time, ensuring longevity.

Lastly, the thermal and acoustic insulation properties of these components significantly enhance the interior comfort of homes, helping to regulate temperature and reduce external noise, which is essential for energy efficiency and residents’ well-being.
