Mr. David Fracca, Vice President, Sales and Marketing Director of Hinowa, commitment to prevent Covid-19 contagion

Innovation, initiative and great professionalism are the elements that make Hinowa´s work. The company, wich was founded over 30 years ago and is headquartered in Nogara specializes in the manufacture of machines for working at heights and moving the eart, such as state-of-the-art and high-qualitiy aerial work platforms, mini dumpers and chain lifts, for specialists from various industries.

How are you trying to make the best of this situatuation?

Italy is one of the most affected countries affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Hinowa, as manufacturer of aerial platforms and minidumpers, is supplier of different customers operating in sectors identified as primary, such as hospital and landscape maintenance, as well as agriculture and energy.

For this reason our production cannot stop, but to protect our staff and customers, Hinowa has adopted various anti-contagion safety protocols:

Working hours, sanitation and no gatherings: the new regulations

To ensure the company activities, different measures have been studied related to working hours and shifts, but not only. In addition to flexible work arrangements, Hinowa has adopted the following actions: 

Changed working hours (entrance, exit, breaks)

  • To grant a safe distance, working time has been divided into several shifts

PPE, sanitation and health check of employees

  • Distribution of washable masks and gloves to all of its employees

  • Body temperature monitoring

  • Frequent sanitation of environments and main contact areas

Closure of certain areas to avoid gatherings 

  • Limited access to snack areas

  • Limited access to changing rooms and bathrooms

  • Canteen service temporarily suspended

Furthermore, thanks to placeholders, the safety distance is granted also in areas with risk of gathering (for example entrance points)

External access

  • Limited access only for material deliveries and machine/spare parts loadings

The activities department by department

In order to provide a constant support to our customers, as well as the continuation of existing projects, some departments are partially or fully operational. In particular, the activities have been reorganized as follows:

  • Production – partially operational

  • Spare parts department – fully operational

  • Technical assistance (phone/email) – fully operational

  • Essential services such as phone assistance, sales, administration and engineering – granted
