MRF competes in the Components category of the International Trailer Award 2027 with its ePeares Access System

MRF’s solution for the electronic management of access to commercial vehicle bodies— ePeares Access System—is the only Spanish entry in this year’s competition. It is competing alongside innovations from manufacturers and suppliers such as BPW, Krone, Thermo King, Carrier Transicold, Kögel and Schmitz Cargobull.

Spanish based company MRF has been nominated in the Components category of the International Trailer Award 2027 (ITA) for its ePeares Access System, an electronic access and locking system for commercial vehicle body doors developed by MRF in Galicia.

The Components category brings together the leading innovations in components, systems, lighting, telematics, axles, brakes, doors, locking mechanisms and other elements for commercial vehicles.

MRF is the only Spanish company represented in these awards, placing it alongside some of the most prominent international manufacturers and suppliers in the industry, including BPW, Krone, Schmitz Cargobull, Thermo King, Carrier Transicold, Kögel, Kässbohrer, Aspöck Systems and Igus.

The ePeares Access System brings digitalisation to commercial vehicle body access through an electronic solution designed to enhance access control and optimise vehicle fleet operations.

Held every two years, the International Trailer Award recognises the industry’s most significant innovations across the Body, Chassis, Components and Future categories. The winners are selected by an international jury comprising 14 specialist journalists from leading transport and commercial vehicle publications.

In addition to competing for the jury’s award, MRF is also taking part in the Community Choice Award, a category whose winner will be selected through a public vote open until 31 August.
