New 6G Series: technology which ensures maximum levels of efficiency and productivity

Available in 5 new models, in the power band of 140 to 200 HP, the new Deutz-Fahr 6G Series aims to meet the requirements of those who want tractors able to maximise productivity at every level. The new Deutz-Fahr 6G series is the perfect combination of the Deutz 6-cylinder engines (compliant with Stage III A), the efficient and modern ZF transmissions and hydraulic systems which are at the top of their category. Lastly, the design recalls the modern style of the German parent company, fully representing the family feel of the European brand.

Designed for global markets, the new models are electronically managed with a , valuable evolution of binary logic which has been adopted up until now and ensures dynamic behaviour adhering to the real needs of the moment as well as greater operating economies. With the new 6G Series, uninterrupted working days are assured , thanks to the high-capacity diesel tanks (maximum capacity of 345 litres) equipped with sheet metal guarding, a Power Core air filter and a new cooling system, in aluminium and equipped with practical screens to ensure quick cleaning operations.

The Deutz engines of the TCD 2012 Series provide high efficiency levels and maximum reliability. Full electronic control of the DCR (Deutz Common Rail) high pressure injection system and the turbochargers with waste-gate valve and intercooler ensure excellent results, both in terms of specific consumption and in terms of torque and power supply.

The high degree of modularity which characterises the new 6G Series is also confirmed by the range of configurations of the transmissions, which include 6 speeds in Powershift with Automatic Powershift function (APS) and SpeedMatching for all models. This basic system is integrated with the hydraulic reverse shuttle and ComfortClutch (to change gear without having to act on the clutch pedal).

In relation to standard transmission versions there is the possibility to add a creeper or a fifth gear for high speeds at a super-economic engine speed, the ratios available vary from 24+12 a 54+27 . On the RCshift versions (available for 6185 G and 6205 G) the transmission also includes fully automated control of the ranges with a driving level similar to the CVT transmissions, thanks to the use of proportional clutch valves and the Stop&Go function, ensuring efficiency in terms of typical overall consumption.

As standard, the new 6G series offers the maximum PTO options available on the market - all 4 standards are provided (540, 540 ECO, 1000, 1000 ECO) and remote controls located on the rear frnder. At the front,, there is the possibility of adding Front Linkage and 1,000 rpm PTO, with modulated electro-hydraulic engagement.

The hydraulic system of the new 6G series is also characterised by maximum modularity, including a powerful 42 l/min pump as standard dedicated exclusively to the steering circuit. The main pump includes 4 different options, two gear pumps with flow rate of 84 to 110 l/min (90 and 115 l/min on 6185 G and 6205 G) and two Load Sensing pumps with flow rate of 120 and 160 l/min (125 and 165 l/min on 6185 G and 6205 G) which feed up to 4 mechanical distributors with dedicated flow regulation. The rear lift, with EHR electronic control and a maximum capacity of 9,700 kg features , shock absorption of oscillations generated during transport of equipment, predefined lock position, height limitation, speed adjustment on lowering and the third service point. The maximum capacity of the optional front lift is 3,850 kg.

The new "heavy duty" axles offer high load capacity and ensure optimal safety: the maximum permitted load on the front is 5,200 kg, while at the rear ,which also includes multiple disc brakes in an oil bath assisted by a Powerbrake system can lift up to 9,200 kg.

The hydraulic suspension of the front axle (optional) is equipped with a series of functions specifically fine-tuned by Deutz-Fahr. These include adaptive control of rigidity based on driving conditions, self-levelling based on load, anti-dive and anti-rise (which stiffen the suspension during braking and acceleration to reduce the transfer of the load to the front and to increase driving comfort) and anti-damping which dampens any pitch which could be generated during transport at speed on the road.

The PowerVision cab can be defined as a real technological "area", ergonomic and comfortable, equipped with the new InfoCentre with large monitors and equipped with new seat models, with air suspension and automatic positioning. A significant increase in comfort, is provided by the availability of effective mechanical suspension for the cab. The separation of the bonnet from the cab has also reduced heat, vibrations and noise levels even further, bringing driver comfort to whole new levels.

Also the degree of driving automation can be significantly implemented, with options including, automatic guidance thanks to the Agrosky precision farming which offer levels of accuracy of ±2 cm.
