  • AMAZONE introduces the Teres 200 mounted reversible plough for tractors up to 200 hp, featuring hydraulic furrow width adjustment.

  • The Teres 200 is available in two models: Teres 200 V with shear bolt overload safety and Teres 200 VS with hydraulic overload safety.

  • Equipped with SpeedBlade plough bodies, the Teres 200 ensures less wear and lower fuel consumption due to its innovative design and ©plus hardening process.

  • The plough offers simple and comfortable adjustment with features like AutoAdapt automatic front furrow adjustment and variable hydraulic working width adjustment.

  • The Teres 200 boasts maximum durability with a 120 x 120 x 10 mm square section beam and a hollow turnover shaft for increased longevity.

  • Optional soil engaging tools and accessories, such as skimmers, trash boards, and disc coulters, make the Teres 200 adaptable to various operating conditions.

With the Teres 200 mounted reversible plough, AMAZONE is expanding its mounted plough portfolio in the medium horsepower sector for tractors up to 200 hp. The Teres 200 comes with hydraulic furrow width adjustment as standard. The overload safety protection can be specified either as shear bolt on the Teres 200 V model or hydraulically on the Teres 200 VS. Both variants are available in either four or five furrows. The plough is characterised by its simple adjustment, its exceptionally light pull and the perfect working result.

Plough bodies meticulously thought-through – SpeedBlade for more performance

The Teres is equipped with SpeedBlade plough bodies with a patented extra-large front shin on the mouldboard. This ensures significantly less wear on the main body, even at faster ploughing speeds. By increasing the working speed from say 6 km/h up to 10 km/h, the main wear point shifts further and further back towards the centre of the plough body. With SpeedBlade, the main wear point remains on the enlarged front shin of the mouldboard and not on the slatted or solid mouldboard, even at high forward speeds. It is therefore only necessary to replace just the front shin of the mouldboard. This saves enormous wear costs.

Another detail with great effect: the point covers the wing, meaning that the joint is protected by the point. Thanks to this clever connection, no plant residues or baler twine get entangled. In addition, the open design of the frog prevents soil sticking under the frog due to its profile, so that the maximum ease of pull on the plough body is maintained.

What's more, the unique ©plus hardening process provides the basis for the highest quality of parts with carbon being introduced during the manufacture of Teres wearing metal. As a result, a very high hardness, and therefore a smooth surface, is achieved to the front of the mouldboard. This ensures a longer service life. The reverse side though remains softer and is therefore extremely tough and impact-resistant.

The SpeedBlade plough body range offers a selection of different slatted and solid body profiles, depending on the application and objective. The sophisticated design of the plough bodies combined with the advantages of the ©plus hardening process ensures a low pulling power requirement, thereby reducing fuel consumption. HD points can be ordered as an option for particularly tough conditions.

The wide furrow clearance is another big plus of the SpeedBlade plough bodies, especially with the increasing use of wider tractor tyres.

Simple and comfortable adjustment for a perfect working profile

The Teres 200 is fitted with infinitely variable hydraulic working width adjustment and front furrow adjustment as standard. This means that the front furrow can be adjusted conveniently from the cab as well as being adapted to suit varying soils and when working on slopes. The driver can also very easily adjust the furrow width hydraulically and infinitely variably from 30 cm to 50 cm or 33 cm to 55 cm per body, depending on the point-to-point clearance, using the tractor hydraulics. The AutoAdapt automatic front furrow adjustment offers a huge advantage in terms of comfort and precision. The front furrow is automatically adjusted when the total working width is changed. Precise match-up and perfect work results are possible under any conditions, thanks to the parallelogram and the hydraulic connection between the furrow width and front furrow cylinder. In addition, AutoAdapt also has a positive effect on fuel consumption, since the pull point and the angle between the plough and the lower link cross shaft does not change during the adjustment process.

The depth adjustment is carried out either mechanically or hydraulically via a pendulum support wheel or combi support wheel. Various tyre sizes and profiles are available for precise depth control and a reliable self-driving effect.

Overload safety protection for extreme applications

The bolted overload safety protection on the Teres 200 V is executed via tried-and-tested shear bolts with a shear force of 4,400 kg. The Teres 200 VS, with its hydraulic overload safety protection, ensures smooth and material-protective working in arduous operating conditions. Trip forces of up to 2000 kg can be infinitely adjusted either centrally or separately on each individual body, depending on the operating conditions. The maximum lift stroke is 40 cm, so that the bodies can also avoid large obstacles, even at deep working depths. The bodies can also swing to the side. The plough body is gently pushed back into the soil via the hydraulic cylinder. As an additional safety feature, each leg has a separate shear bolt also.

Maximum durability and lightness

The 120 x 120 x 10 mm square section beam gives the Teres a high level of rigidity whilst maintaining a light pick-up weight. The bearing-mounted ProtectShaft cross-shaft with integrated lower link balls ensures low levels of wear and maximum durability. The pivot bearings have a dampening, material-protecting effect and protect the plough when turning over on the headland and when driving on the road. Thanks to the integrated balls, the durability of the cross shaft is increased markedly on account of the larger diameter.

The 120 mm turnover shaft, which is hollow, means two bearings of the same size can be used. This markedly increases durability. In addition, the benefit of the hollow shaft is that the hydraulic pipes can be routed neatly through it.

The Teres also scores with its gentle SmartTurn turnover system. The built-in frame swivel cylinder ensures a low-wear turning process in the shortest possible time without changing the furrow width.

Equipment for every application

Optional soil engaging tools allow the new mounted reversible plough to be universally adapted to all operating conditions. For example, various skimmers or trash boards are available for the clean incorporation of large amounts of organic matter. The use of landside protection improves plough guidance on slopes. A sword landside is available as an option for regions with stony and heavy soil. It protects the edges of the front shin of the mouldboard from wear and cuts a clean furrow wall. Disc coulters can be fitted to the last plough body for exceptionally clean furrow clearance. For simultaneous reconsolidation, AMAZONE offers the Teres 200 with a swivel press arm for working with a packer.
