The new and improved HR15N and HR17N from Niftylift were introduced at the beginning of 2014 and are already proving popular with customers.

Introduction to New HR15N and HR17N

The new HR15N and HR17N will lift 2 men and their tools to working heights of 15.5m and 17m respectively, or a working outreach of 9.7m. Their practical 180° rotating cage and fly-boom coupled with fully proportional multi-function controls deliver exceptional precision when positioning, making tasks quicker and easier to perform.

An impressive working outreach with zero tail-swing helps the new Narrows to reach awkward jobs, especially when space is limited, and their efficient power system allows the batteries to work for longer, so more tasks can be completed and running costs reduced.

They incorporate Niftylift's ToughCage, and multi award-winning SiOPS®protection which eliminates sustained involuntary operation by instantly stopping machine movement if the operator is pushed onto the control console.

Their 1.5m width and sub 2m height enables travel through restricted spaces, while the option of non-marking tyres means that they can work both inside and out, making them ideal for industrial or maintenance work.

New HR15N and HR17N Technical Detail

Increased Battery Performance

Niftylift has made significant improvements in in the efficiency of the Height Rider's power system, leading to up to 3 fold increases in the numbers of Hird cycles* the machines can perform. This means they can operate for up to 3 times longer before needing to be charged, giving them the potential for greatly increased utilisation on-site.

Multi-Functional Controls with Exceptional Reliability

With the introduction of a new digital (CAN bus) control system they now offer multi-functional control. This provides various benefits, two major ones being:

  1. Large fully-proportional paddles in the cage allow measured precise multi-functional control of the machine, even when wearing gloves, making machine operation easier and more intuitive.

  2. The CAN bus control system is more reliable (with self-diagnostic capability), so maintenance costs are reduced along with potential down-time and faults are far easier to fix.

Summary

The new HR15Ns and HR17Ns now deliver the complete package: Industry leading reach performance from a compact and manoeuvrable low-weight base; excellent utilisation potential; low running and maintenance costs and multi award-winning operator protection.

Whether from the point of view of a machine operator or a rental company Niftylift's new Narrow booms represent the 'ultimate' combination of performance, economy, and most importantly safety.
