New Deutz-Fahr 2E series: strength and rationality

The new 2E Series has 4 models with power ranging from 25 to 40 HP, and is the first result of the recent investments made by Deutz-Fahr in China.

Aimed at markets in Developing Countries, the 2E Series stands out for its remarkable performance and excellent levels of reliability, guaranteed by the structural strength and completeness of the equipment fitted as standard. The layout of the operator platform and the lines of the modern and functional bonnet provide the 2E Series with an attractive design and optimum all round visibility given by the poisitioning of the cooling group, air filter assembly and the exhaust system under the bonnet.

The new models, all with 4-wheel drive, are perfect for small farming enterprises and maintenance works of public areas; The driver area has a modern design, compliant with the most recent ergonomic standards thanks to a rational and ergonomic distribution of the controls. The seats are equipped with effective mechanical suspension, which can be adjusted to the weight of the driver.

The new Deutz-Fahr 2E Series are multi-functional tractors by virtue of the load bearing structure of a higher category of tractor, highlighted by an unladen weight of 1,592 kg for the 2025E and 2030E models and 1820 kg for the 2035E and 2040E models. PTO configuration is offered as 540 and 1,000 rpm, with rear lifting capacity and availability of up to 4 rear hydraulic lines, suitable for many different applications, which would normally be managed by higher hp models. For increased stability and control, ballast weights can be mounted on a secure front carrier, as well as ring ballasts to be applied to the rear wheels.

The new 2E Series uses powertrains which are as easy to operate, have proven reliability and assit with the overall reduction in fuel consumption. The 2025 E and 2030 E models are equipped with 3 cylinder engines, with a displacement of 1,813 cm³, supplying a maximum 25 and 30 HP respectively (18.4 and 22.1 kW), while models 2035 E and 2040 E are fitted with four-cylinder engines of 2,545 cm³ generating 35 and 40 HP (25.7 and 29.4 kW).

The recognised reliability of the engines and powertrains, together with the high efficiency levels, which are proven by specific consumption values which are always below 250 g/kWh even at maximum powerfor all versions) contribute towards a long service life for the new 2E Series which will certainly play a role in these tractors being appreciated as the hard-working vehicles they are designed to be.

A robust and efficient fully synchronised mechanical transmission, , based on 4 gears and two ranges, offers the operator 8 speeds for each direction of travel, effective shifting between gears, allowing the driver to always find the right gear for each operation and allowing the Deutz-Fahr 2E Series to reach a maximum speed of more than 25 km/h.

The 2E Series is characterised by excellent ground clearance and a wide range of tyre options coupled with a wheelbase of 1850mm for the 2025E and 2030E models and 1967mm for the 2035E and 2040E and a steering angle of 43 degrees guaranteeing maximum versatility in all operations.

The hydraulic system of the new 2E Series ensures optimal performance levels: supplied as standard with a closed centre system, powered by a gear pump with a flow rate of 29 l/min and equipped with rear 2 or 4-way hydraulic distributors. For maximum driving comfort, the 2E Series is also equipped with power steering. A particular feature of the Deutz-Fahr 2E Series is the remarkable performance levels of the rear lift with 3-point hitch, category 1N, which ensure a significant maximum lifting capacity of 420 kg (on 2025E), 500 kg (on 2030E) and 720 kg on the more powerful models (2035E and 2040E). This lifting capacity is measured according to the most stringent OECD international standards.

A functional two pillar rear safety frame , can be partially folded, and provides protection for the operator in the event of the tractor overturning.
