New EasyCut R 400 rear disc mower

The EasyCut R 400 is a new KRONE disc mower that attaches to the rear linkage and works at a width of 4.04m. The robust headstock, the SmartCut cutterbar for optimized cuts, the individually impact protected SafeCut discs, the dependable break-back system, the spring suspension system and its narrow  transport width make the EC R 400 a versatile, safe, straightforward, flexible and productive mower that delivers exemplary cuts.

The machine moves hydraulically into transport position by swinging in-line behind the tractor and by folding up the front guard automatically. This turns the machine into a narrow and low-profile transport unit for smooth passage underneath bridges and through gates. Rear lights and warning panels are standard specification on EasyCut R 400.

Should the EasyCut R 400 collide with an obstacle, the cutterbar will instantly break back to the rear and up thanks to the hydraulic break-back system, preventing machine damage.

The cutterbar is suspended in its centre of gravity and pivots through a large horizontal travel range for optimum contouring. Very responsive springs adjust the pressure to varying conditions and maintain it consistently across the working width. A hydraulic coil spring adjustment is available as an option.

A ram cuts out any lateral movement on the headland and in road transport, increasing operational reliability and reducing the shockloads on the chassis.
