Thousands of visitors from Brazil and beyond have this week been able to study the latest New Holland Agriculture developments up close at Agrishow 2023, the largest agricultural fair in Latin America, which took place from May 1-5 in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. While there was plenty to see in terms of machinery developments, a key focus of the brand’s display was a showcase of a complete range of products and services focusing on digital agriculture.

Taking place from May 1st to 5th, Agrishow is the biggest and most important agricultural technology trade show in Brazil and one of the largest in the world. It is the only event of its type that brings together agricultural solutions for all types of crops and property sizes, and is recognized as one of the leading trade fairs for the main technological trends and innovations in agribusiness.

Connected services

With solutions relevant to small, medium, and large farm businesses, among the key attractions of the New Holland stand was its display of the brand’s Connected Services, which allow customers to monitor and manage every machine activity in every field of their farms throughout the year.

Via an Intelligence Center app, customers can monitor their machine fleets, with functions including remote support, training for precision agriculture machines and equipment in-person or online, and machine calibration and adjustment. The Intelligence Center also provides alerts of any machine issues and allows users to check the monitoring and analysis generated by the information gathered in the field, all in a simple and intuitive way.

Telemetry for tractors

With a particular focus on the benefits of technology for small and medium-sized producers, New Holland showed its telemetry solutions for the TL5 and T6 cab and platform tractor families. In particular, customers were able to see how they can check machine information in the MYPLMCONNECT fleet management application.

The latest telemetry developments can be checked via Opere+, a free app aimed at small farmers who are starting to work with data from machines in the field.

CR Intellisense™ boosts harvesting efficiency

The latest New Holland CR Intellisense™ combine harvesters feature a larger and more comfortable cab, LED lighting and on-board telematics, as well as the proven dual-rotor threshing and separation system. What particularly boosts the output potential of the latest machines, though, is artificial intelligence technology that brings new levels of precision to grain harvesting, to boost the overall efficiency of crop production.

The Intellisense™ technology, which is now available in Brazil, has since 2018 been available on the harvesters produced by New Holland in Europe, where it has been especially successful due to the ease of operation and precision it brings. The IntelliSense system allows operators to select from different harvesting strategies according to crop condition or operator intent, to focus on strategies ranging from maximum output to minimum losses to minimum grain damage.

The T6 Methane Power tractor

The world's first tractor powered by biomethane gas, which was launched commercially in Brazil last year, was a centerpiece of the Agrishow display. The T6.180 Methane Power heralds a new agricultural machine segment, via its innovative use of alternative fuels that mean it delivers the same energy and operational efficiency as a conventional tractor.

A new tractor for smaller farm demands

Agrishow marked the national debut of the New Holland T4.75 S tractor, designed as an efficient answer to the needs of customers seeking a smaller tractor. The new model blends some of the best features of two of the brand's most renowned tractor models, the TT.75 and the TL5.80, expanding New Holland's tractor offering. Key advances include greater technology, robustness, reliability, comfort and ease of operation.
