New! IsoMatch GEOcontrol for Kverneland ploughs: FURROWcontrol

New from Kverneland Group’s range of IsoMatch GEOcontrol solutions is FURROWcontrol : a software application to control the plough’s furrow width, simply adjusted by GPS. This new development will be presented at the Agritechnica show in Hannover in November 2013 on Kverneland’s PW plough (8 Furrow).

Kverneland Group’s in-house electronics division, Mechatronics, that earlier developed IsoMatch GEOcontrol, an advanced application for fertiliser spreaders, sprayers, seed drills and precision drills, has now also added a new application for Kverneland ploughs.

Smart, Efficient and Easy: Ploughing with the IsoMatch Tellus and GEOcontrol

When driving for example into a wedge shaped corner of the field, the plough application FURROWcontrol, operated by the GEOcontrol software on the IsoMatch Tellus, will start to adjust the furrow width accurately towards straight lines. The solution includes two functions:

1. Vari-width Control : from a curved furrow easily and fast to straight furrow. The working width is adjusted by GPS and can therefore be place specific and more precise.

2. Extended documentation and field mapping : the job done is registered and saved by IsoMatch GEOcontrol and can be exchanged with farm management systems.

More about the PW/RW ploughs :

PW/RW ploughs were already awarded with a silver medal for the Palmarès de l’Innovation at SIMA in 2007 for the unique concept in building a semi-mounted plough: “3 ploughs in 1” (a robust central wheel wagon plough in the front and a standard mounted reversible plough at the rear). Ploughing is then possible in any soil conditions by using either 3 ploughs, with capacity up to 12 Furrows ! (integrated Packomat as option).
