The mid-size XUV 560 is designed to provide the same levels of comfort and versatility as higher-spec machines, and has a ground clearance of 267mm plus load/towing capacities of 363 and 499kg. Features include a 16hp petrol engine with swift acceleration up to 28mph, independent four-wheel suspension and multiple attachment options. The standard ROPS provides easy entry and exit, and there are three-point seatbelts and grab handles as standard for safety and comfort.

John Deere’s XUV 590i two-seater and 590i S4 four-seater Gator utility vehicles offer a range of customisation and attachment options. Equipped with a powerful twin-cylinder 32hp, 586cc petrol engine, continuously variable transmission and independent four-wheel suspension, the 590i can accelerate quickly to a top speed of over 45mph.

These models feature power steering, a large 28-litre fuel tank and a backlit instrument cluster, plus an 875W/65A alternator to run auxiliary attachments such as lights and winches without discharging the battery.

Ground clearance and load/towing capacities of the XUV 590i are the same as the 560. The S4 version has a slightly lower ground clearance of 236mm and a higher load capacity of 544kg with the rear passenger seat folded down, plus the same towing capacity of 499kg.

John Deere’s new X350R lawn tractor has recently been awarded Best Buy status by BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine. In a comparative test of 14 different machines this spring, the testers marked each mower out of 20, assessing ease of use, comfort, handling and turning as well as cut quality and overall performance. The X350R achieved the top score of 19.

The test report described the John Deere X350R as a “premium model”, commenting on its “exceptionally comfortable and impressive performance” and “clear and detailed dashboard display”. The testers also summarised it as “best for larger gardens” and highlighted other features including “superb quality, comfortable, cruise control, manoeuvres well, good accessories.”

These machines are being shown alongside a range of other John Deere Gators and lawn tractors, compact and utility tractors including the new 2036R model, and a ride-on front rotary mower.
