New Maintenance Contract with the city of Graz

Liebherr-Transportation Systems GmbH was awarded in December 2010 a one-year contract for the maintenance of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems of the first five new-generation Variobahn tramways that have started operation in the City of Graz (Austria) in 2010. This contract was awarded by the Transportation Services Department of the Municipality of Graz. The Municipality of Graz has acquired 45 tramways of the Variobahn type, that will gradually enter into service until 2015. Liebherr-Transportation Systems GmbH designs, develops and manufactures the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems of the Variobahn tramways, that are state-of-the art, lightweight roof saloon unit and roof driver cab unit, and will deliver high-level professional maintenance services for the maintenance of these units.
