A LCL500 24t Luffing-Jib Crane:
Linden Comansa showcased its customers a new mast configuration with D35 sections of its LCL500 24t luffing-jib crane, which until now had only one configuration with D36 sections. This new possibility does not mean any other change on the LCL500 24t, as the crane keeps the same load diagram, the same winches, etc.
The D35 mast section was designed for the 21LC660 flat-top crane, launched in 2012. Applied to the LCL500 24t, the D35 reduces the cost of crane, in exchange for a slight loss of maximum freestanding height when compared to the D36 mast configuration. From now on, both configurations will be available, thus allowing Linden Comansa to offer more possibilities to its clients.
Both D35 and D36 mast sections have the same dimensions (5.5 meters in height and 2.5 in width), are compatible with each other and both share the same hydraulic climbing cage. Therefore, one of Linden Comansa’s main characteristics is improved: modularity.
