The Fliegl Agro-Center introduces an attachment which is versatile, powerful and allows safe mulching: “Speedy” achieves a particularly high cutting and surface performance along with a convincing cutting speed at a relatively low driving power. “Speedy” cuts clean, also rough undergrowth and it is suitable for the mulching of meadows and pastures, roadsides and waysides, parks, hedges, bushes etc. Fliegl has adapted the design so that the knives are arranged on the rotor in such a way that stones or other foreign objects cannot be thrown out of the mulching device - a valuable safety device. A special pendulum joint is used to compensate for ground irregularities. The jib on which “Speedy” is mounted can be pushed outwards by up to 1200 millimeters - so the carrier vehicle can travel on solid ground, while mulching takes place in the boom area.

“Speedy” is driven by a powerful oil engine (drive oil capacity 40 to 100 liters) via a V-belt. The attachment can be ordered with Euronorm mount or mount for wheel or telescopic loaders; it weighs approx. 280 kg and has a working width of approx. 1300 mm. All tools of the spiral-shaped cutting body can be replaced easily. The Agro-Center supplies the “Speedy” as standard with

• electrical control block for parallel use of all functions

• 111 degree tilt function: The cutting angle of the mulcher is continuously selectable.

• Lateral counterweight balancing the unilateral load on the swing arm of the carrier vehicle.

“Speedy” is suitable for mounting on the universal extension arm “Dino” from Fliegl Agro-Center. The mulching head alone can also be ordered for mounting it on the quick-change frame of a Fliegl branch saw - the application range of the saw is thus supplemented by mulching. “Speedy” - a new type of mulcher designed for high performance.
