Schmitz Cargobull presents the impressive new PIEK-certified MF6 multifunction floor
The new PIEK-certified quiet running floor from Schmitz Cargobull delivers a convincing combination of high durability, low noise and greater skid resistance along with outstanding load securing.
The MF6 is a longitudinally grooved floor with crosswise ribbing to ensure its anti-slip properties. As the noise level during loading and unloading rolling containers is significantly below the 60 dB demanded by PIEK, the floor is particularly suitable for low-noise loading and unloading in areas in which PIEK regulations apply. The multifunction floor has TÜV-tested sliding friction coefficients and certificates for wooden pallets and steel pallet cages. Six load-securing profiles are recessed into the floor for interlocking load securing. A revolutionary multifunction clamping beam for the floor and the roof has been available since April 2015.
The MFS multifunction clamping beam provides revolutionary and flexible options for securing a variety of different loads. Depending on the specific application, the multifunction clamping beams can be attached at various points throughout the length of the cargo area. Rows of holes underneath the roof and a multifunction rail on the floor ensure that the load can be secured without any problems. In addition, the foot lever mechanism makes the multifunction clamping beam easy to use. This reduces the risk of injury, as does the omission of protruding or sharp-edged bolts and screw heads. The pipe profiles consist of pressed aluminium, and the connecting elements are made of stainless or galvanised steel. This guarantees a long service life. This flexible load securing option enables hauliers to handle a wide range of different transport tasks. Furthermore, this system also increases the trailer's resale value.
