New SolidBatch Asphalt Mixing Plants Offer Customisation and Cost Effectiveness

Ammann has introduced the SolidBatch Asphalt-Mixing Plants, which are built for flexibility, customisation and reliability.

The SolidBatch 140 and SolidBatch 180, with capacities of 140 tonnes per hour and 180 tonnes per hour, are now available globally.

The SolidBatch purchase price is minimised because the plant is highly standardised and the base model features few “extras.” Instead, customers select the standard SolidBatch model and then choose from a variety of options. Those options ultimately lead to a highly customised plant – yet customers only pay for the features they want. Keeping costs even lower is the customers’ ability to use local suppliers to secure non-critical parts.

SolidBatch utilises Ammann’s industry-leading recycling capabilities. The plants also are engineered for easy integration of future technologies.

Transport is easy with efficient packaging and loading. Setup is quick and cost-effective thanks to plug-in components, built-in steel foundations and plug socket cabling. The plants maintain high hourly production despite their transport-friendly nature.

Contributing further to the cost/performance ratio are the plants’ fuel efficiency, remote support and the proprietary as1 Control System – an operator-friendly, proven production and quality control tool.

All core components – including the mixer, filter and screen – are manufactured in Switzerland to ensure seamless integration and, ultimately, reliability and longer life.
