News from the AMAZONE Groundkeeper

In a number of areas AMAZONE has further enhanced the standard equipment level of its Groundkeeper models. So, with immediate effect, these mower/scarifiers can be equipped with an operating hours meter. This meter precisely registers the time that the PTO shaft has been engaged for. The working hours meter now enables garden and landscape contractors or local authorities to accurately document the work performed. The meter is attached to the frame near the drive shaft and features a tractor-independent power supply.

All the other innovations serve to further improve the level of operational comfort and safety. So, the lock for gaining access to the intermediate hood now is moved to the centre of the hood. The result is the improved access to the SmartCut exact cut rotor which eases the changing of knives or cleaning the rotor.

Also for more comfort is the improved opening and closing mechanism of the emptying flap on Groundkeeper models with high-lift discharge. Now the emptying flap features a damping device that ensures a slower lowering after the emptying procedure. Also additional rubber seals prevent dust escaping when the flap is closed. This innovation also increases the durability of the machine.

Additionally available for all Groundkeeper models with high-lift emptying is the hydraulic locking for the high-lift hopper which is actuated via a lever. This provides extra safety when carrying out maintenance work on the rotor or collecting hopper.

The new fill level indicator for the collecting hopper is insensitive to ground vibrations and indicates the fill level with a higher level accuracy and reliability.
