Aleksandra Jastrzab: Hello, my name is Aleksandra Jastrzab and today I represent LECTURA Press. It is Thursday, September 7th, and we are at the NordBau 2023 trade fair. I am pleased to welcome Mr. Wiedemann from the company F.X. Meiller with us today.

Jens Wiedemann: Hello, good afternoon.

AJ: What is your highlight of this year's NordBau trade fair?

JW: Our highlight of this trade fair is our new series of the TRIGENIUS three-way tipper. We have completely revised the Trigenius three-way tippers in recent years - from the smallest vehicle, the 3.5 tonner, to the heavy 4-axle, the 41 tonner, and I would like to tell this story here in particular – because we also have this product at the trade fair stand and are showing it in many variants – about the steel tipper, namely the 3.5 tonner Trigenius D302.

What did we do? This steel tipper, which for many years was considered unique in the construction industry, as stability anyway, of course had to consider these new payload conditions. Using new materials, i.e., Hardox 450 and a sheet thickness of 1.5 mm, we succeeded in designing and manufacturing a tipper capable of achieving a payload of 830 kg for such a small vehicle, namely 3.5 tons.

We process our sheet metal ourselves in our production centers. We have used new welding methods for this, namely laser welding, and the surface treatment is also decisive for the longevity of this tipper. We paint the tipper and prime it beforehand with a KTL and a KTL paint. We also show, after the tipper is finished, different equipment details, such as load securing systems which are embedded in the floor in the front wall. We have installed, along with other extensive accessories, a large lockable toolbox across the full width of the vehicle behind the cab, where companies engaged in construction, gardening and landscaping, perform service of any kind, janitorial service. This is the perfect vehicle for them because these boxes are secured, lockable, are very stable and have a high load capacity.
