Oilgear introduced its newest open-loop variable-displacement pump to its high performance PVG series. The PVG-180 meets the needs for a number of industrial applications that require high response and speed in rugged environments.
A variable-displacement, axial-piston pump with fast control response, the PVG-180 thrives on low viscosity fluids and is available in a variety of control and porting options. It is designed to be a high-performance solution for your demanding applications.
The PVG-180 fits into the space of industrial applications that require more power but are restricted by size constraints. The PVG-180 produces 30 percent more power than the popular PVG-150 while fitting in the same size frame. This makes it advantageous for users who need more power for their applications, yet don’t want to or can’t, retrofit the frame of the system for a larger pump.
Oilgear pumps feature its proprietary Hard-On-Hard Technology™. These pumps have a greater resistance to contaminants, as well as higher operation pressures from comparable models. Oilgear’s patented technology means the pump can withstand continuous use without worrying about corrosion, which can lead to premature or increased maintenance and costly equipment downtime.
Applications that typically use PVG series pumps are forging and extrusion presses, large off-highway construction equipment, material handling, aerospace and automotive industries.
