The successful PALFINGER Jumbo class NX is set to gain another access platform: The new P 750 model is the fourth of the "Jumbo next-generation" bunch and will win admirers with its working height of 75 metres, reach of 39 metres and, of course, with the flexibility that has come to be expected from Jumbo NX access platforms.

There is a new addition to the Jumbo class NX family: Joining the P 480, P 550 and the P 640 is the P 750 – PALFINGER's fourth and, so far, biggest model of next-generation Jumbo NX class access platforms. Its working height of 75 metres makes it the access platform with the greatest working height in this class. The lateral reach of 39 metres allows plenty of room for manoeuvre, without the truck on which the platform is mounted having to move.

Flexibility throughout the entire reach

Flexibility is a trademark of the Jumbo class NX, thanks to the sensitive proportional controller, the strong lower boom telescopes and the extendable upper boom. The additional X-jib between the upper boom and the workman basket constitutes a characteristic feature. It can be separately controlled for exceptionally precise positioning and allows a working range of 240 degrees. Thanks to its ability to rotate 2 x 200 degrees, the basket itself offers the same flexibility as a wrist on an outstretched arm and enables high-precision positioning.

The P 750 can therefore be aligned with buildings or masts or even beneath overhangs. "This enables maximum precision within a large reach," says Karl Reinfurt, PALFINGER Platforms Product Manager. "Incorporating this aspect into all our Jumbo class NX access platforms was important to us. Our goal is large reach along with plenty of freedom of movement. And with the P 750, we've done it again." The P 750, like the P 640, comes with a fully automatic lubrication system for the lower boom as standard, giving users of the platform peace of mind throughout its service life, together with minimum service costs.

Lightweight and strong

A weight-optimised design also allows more freedom with the truck. Special profile structures and lightweight, strong materials keep the overall weight as low as possible, allowing more tools, working accessories and material to be transported on the vehicle. The extremely generous amount of space available in the workman basket makes work much more effective, helping operators to save time and money.
