Parker Hannifin introduces a fluid conveyance system featuring a durable electronic coolant hose (ECH) and VDA-style push-to-connect fittings for the battery mobile market.
-
The ECH hose is lightweight, abrasion and UV resistant, chemically compatible, and operates reliably between -40°F and 212°F with pressures up to 125 psi.
-
Its small diameter and thermal forming capability enable precise, customized routing in compact spaces.
-
VDA-style metal adapters provide leak-proof, corrosion-resistant connections in aluminum, stainless steel, or steel, enhancing system longevity and installation efficiency.
Durable hose and leak-proof push-to-connect fittings ideal for conveying coolants for batteries, inverters, motor and electronics
Parker Hannifin, a global leader in motion systems and controls, will spotlight a fluid conveyance system—hose, fittings and adapters—specifically designed to meet the pressure and temperature demands of the battery mobile market at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026. The VDA-style push-to-connect fittings and adapters were created especially for use with the flexible thermoplastic electronic coolant hose (ECH).
Lightweight, yet durable, the new ECH hose from Parker’s Parflex Division can effectively handle extreme environments and the compact routings often faced in the mobile market. It’s ideal for conveying coolants for batteries, inverters, motors and electronics. A polyamide inner liner provides excellent chemical compatibility and moisture permeating resistance, resulting in a hose with unparalleled weight savings and unmatched cleanliness.
The exterior elastomer material is cut- and abrasion-resistant. Its durable construction also resists UV degradation and maintains a reliable, quality performance in even the most extreme conditions—withstanding temperatures as low as -40֠ F (-40֯ C) and as high as 212֠ F (100֯ C) and handling operating pressures up to 125 psi, 8.6 bar. The small outer diameter of the hose makes it easier to use in tight spaces.
Additionally, the ECH can be thermally formed, allowing manufacturers to create customized shapes and routing paths for cooling circuits. This capability advances design ingenuity while maintaining high levels of precision and consistency.
The accompanying VDA style adapters from Parker’s Tube Fittings Division installation time without sacrificing leak-free reliability. The made-to-order metal adapters provide longer life when connected to manifolds, pumps, valves, battery packs and more. Available in any end configuration and size to meet unique system needs, these adapters come in durable lightweight aluminum, stainless steel and steel. The aluminum and stainless-steel options provide maximum corrosion resistance even in the harshest environments.
