Mytime Active is the largest pay-and-play golf course operator in the UK. As a social enterprise with charitable objectives, Mytime Active through its 16 beautiful courses located in London, the South-East, South Coast and the Midlands aims to encourage the take-up of golf, making it fun and accessible to all. Part of this drive to greater participation and accessibility is the successful introduction of FootGolf at many of its centres.

Mytime Active runs a programme of rolling investment in its golf courses and John Deere equipment has been the chosen partner on the majority of its courses to date. Mytime Active bases its enterprise model on quality at accessible prices.

Tom Kenny, Group Course Manager for Mytime Active, commented: “After a thorough and rigorous procurement process we invested a significant amount in John Deere equipment through Godfreys, as the products offer excellent quality and reliability delivering real value for money. This is a fully serviced relationship, with Godfreys providing service support through its outlets.”

“Mytime Active asked us to tender and part of this process was to demonstrate new products, but also produce lifetime costings on John Deere equipment,” said Peter Bateman, Director of Godfreys. “We are delighted that Mytime Active has selected John Deere and Godfreys as partners in its golf enterprise.”

The equipment provided includes John Deere fairway mowers, greens mowers and tees & surrounds mowers and a quantity of John Deere Gator utility vehicles. Mytime Active also acquired four Trimax Snake trailed rotary mowers as part of the deal.
