Manitowoc launched the Igo T 139, the largest model in its Igo T self-erecting crane range, at bauma 2025.
-
The Igo T 139 crane offers a maximum capacity of 8 t and can work with jibs of 50 m or 55 m.
-
The crane features Potain Plus capacity-enhancing mode, allowing it to lift 1.2 t at the end of a 55 m jib or 2 t at the end of a 50 m jib.

The Igo T 139 can be towed at speeds up to 80 km/h and features a slewing radius as small as 3.5 m for urban site compatibility.
Manitowoc used bauma 2025 to launch the largest model in its range of Igo T self-erecting cranes, the Igo T 139. Igo T cranes are the largest self-erecting models from Potain, distinguished by their ability to telescope lattice masts to vary their working height, depending on the project. Other models in the Igo T range include the Igo T 70 A, the Igo T 85 A, the Igo T 99, and the Igo T 130.
The heavyweight Igo T 139 offers a maximum capacity of 8 t and can work with jibs of 50 m or 55 m. When operating using the Potain Plus capacity-enhancing mode, the crane will lift 1.2 t at the end of a 55 m jib, or 2 t at the end of a 50 m jib. Hook heights can be extended up to 40.7 m through the simple and intuitive insertion of 6 m mast sections. Ballast slabs of 4,050 kg feature a new design for easier stacking on the crane.
The crane’s impressive capabilities extend to its transport and onsite footprint. It can be towed at speeds of up to 80 km/h as a semi- trailer, and getting to work onsite is completed in just a few steps through Potain’s proven Smart Setup function. The slewing radius can be as little as 3.5 m, allowing the crane to fit into congested urban sites.
“The Potain Igo T 139 sets new standards of excellence in our telescoping, self-erecting cranes,” said Remi Deporte, product manager for self-erecting cranes at Manitowoc. “These new cranes are perfect for shorter-term jobsites where larger loads must be lifted. They offer a perfect combination of capacity, reach, and compactness with the added benefit of the latest Potain technologies.”
Other features of the new Igo T 139 include an optional Ultraview cab, for applications where the crane needs an operator above ground level and the Potain CONNECT™ telematics platform, for easier troubleshooting and fleet management.
