Preview: BAUER Maschinen Group with multiple highlights at Bauma China

Bauma China Shanghai is soon approaching: On November 27, the international trade show for construction and building material machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment will once again open its doors. During the four days of the show, exhibitors will again be presenting the latest technology, machinery and equipment as well as developments in the construction industry to visitors. And of course, BAUER Maschinen Group will once again be there with two booths (A06 + A13). With around 640 m2 of floor space, Bauer will be presenting its innovative technology for specialist foundation engineering. "We've been involved since the first Bauma in Shanghai," says Dieter Stetter, Chairman of the Management Board of BAUER Maschinen GmbH. "For us, the show is always an ideal opportunity to present not only our latest- generation of devices optimized for the Chinese market. We also look forward to welcoming long-standing customers, old acquaintances, friends and of course every guest who is interested in our technology to our booth."

In addition to the Premium- and ValueLine rotary drilling rigs, BAUER Maschinen GmbH will also have a grab and a cutting system on display. And in addition to that, two BFS-T drilling simulators will be set up where visitors can test their skills with rotary drilling rigs. The Bauer Foundation Simulator was developed by BAUER Maschinen GmbH to simulate Kelly drilling on a Bauer rotary drilling rig. With its very life-like depiction, the simulator is ideal as an initial training tool for equipment operators. As a portable version, the BFS-T model, which will also be shown at Bauma, is ideally suited for use in various work places

Bauer has been active in China for over a quarter of a century, and in 1991 Bauer opened its first office in Beijing. BAUER Maschinen GmbH has meanwhile sold more than 600 devices in China – one of them is a BC 30 diaphragm wall cutter, which is now 22 years old and still reliably operates to this day. Among other projects, the BAUER BC 30 was used for in the second section of the Three Gorges Dam, the construction of Huangsha Station in Guangzhou, and for the construction of stops along the Foshan Metro Line 1 connecting Foshan with Guangzhou. The current owner Guangdong Hydropower, decided in 2017 to invest in a brand new BAUER BC 40 diaphragm wall cutter. This new machine is currently working on the second lock of Mengzhou Dam in Guangdong Province and has already proven its worth: It cut reliably at great depths in the rock with a hardness of more than 100 MPa.
