PRINOTH adds another string to its bow

We have developed a carrier vehicle for special jobs - the RAPTOR 300r. It is designed for mulching operations on very challenging terrain. The undercarriage adapts perfectly to any ground type, if swampy, uneven, or steep. The extremely low ground pressure due to flexible rubber tracks adapting to the ground, prevents it from getting stuck in soft soil.

The rubber track also provides the advantage to cross paved roads like a wheeled carrier without damaging the asphalt. The RAPTOR 300r is thus ideal for working in power lines maintenance jobs, pipeline or roadside maintenance and even larger land clearing jobs in swampy areas. Therefor it sets new standards in traditional mulching.

The carrier is equipped with a M550m Mulcher and has a mechanical driveline for maximum efficiency, like all PRINOTH mulching carriers. The Centre of gravity is on the dead center of the machine providing even better mobility in steep and swampy terrain. A walking beam suspension, producing increased suspension travel, easily adapts to uneven terrain while providing a safe & comfortable ride.

Small! Manoeverable! Flexible!

Excavator-mounted vibrators have achieved an entirely new development for 6-12 ton diggers with the M450e-900 mulcher. At 480 kg this machine is the lightest mulcher in our range and is a complete novelty on the market.

Just one of the core features in this new development is the fact that no overflow oil line is required. Exchange and attachment of carrier vehicles in rental stock, for example, is made particularly straightforward.

The second innovation is the rotor, which works with an adjustable cutting depth limit and makes smooth working possible with relatively little power.

Not only is it small and manoeverable, it is also flexible and versatile in its range of applications. On account of its compact and handy design, the M450e-900 is ideal for targeted care of slopes and habitats, or for clearance of thinly bushed areas.

Even in thickly overgrown woodland rapid work is made possible with these small diggers and many quite new possibilities are opened up for so many digger users.

Diversity is trump

The apt model for every class of excavator: With the new excavator attachments, PRINOTH handles the complete range between 6-25 tons. Mulchers M450e-900 for 6-12 tons and M550e-1300 for 18-25 tons are the latest entrants in our mulcher portfolio, which relies on PRINOTH’s 25 years‘ experience and constantly adapts itself to current market requirements.

Lightweight

The M450e-900 is the lightest mulcher as an attachment for 6-12 ton excavators. Thanks to its optimum weight, handling it is child‘s play. An inbuilt gear motor makes simple extension possible to various excavators and enables a rapid exchange of carrier units without having to install additional leaky oil lines.

Extremely stable in operation

Since December 2016 the M450e-900 has been in production at the Frank Rothmund Company, a service provider specializing in earthwork, civil engineering and road construction, but which also handles garden and outdoor areas. Frank Rothmund has developed the M450e-900 to a 6-ton excavator and takes care of forests and woods in natural habitats as well as waysides and hedges.  ”The stability of the M450e-900 is remarkable,” smiles Frank Rothmund. “In addition, the mulcher is very light-weight. That makes it unique in its class.”

The right mulcher for everyone

The M450e-1100 mulchers form the centre field for the application of 12-18-ton excavators and the FM500e for excavators of 18-23 tons. The new M550e-1300 is responsible for heavy artillery. This mulcher is designed for excavators in the region of 18-25 tons. The power pack guarantees the highest shredding quality thanks to its counter blades and is highly protected by wear-resistant steel, including at critical points within the casing.

The hallmark is productivity

The M550e-1300 is conceived for heavy weights, but is easy to handle and outstanding in optimal power transmission.  For the numbers people in the business it means: A positive effect on running costs, because of productive working. Flexible extension to various carriers is also guaranteed, of course, by the M550e-1300. The universal plate can be fitted left or right of the mulcher. A single change is possible in an instant.

We carry on working

Thanks to sophisticated techniques we can offer even simpler machines which at the same time are characterized by the highest stability. All new equipment can be run either hydraulically or mechanically and thereby cover an even broader range of applications. In the field of excavator mulchers PRINOTH works on the completion of our portfolio in order to be able to provide excavators from six to thirty tons seamlessly with mulchers. But the new range is also destined to equip smaller tractors and skid steers – naturally in the well-known AHWI quality and with the Made in Germany seal. Thus PRINOTH puts itself in pole position with two new rotor concepts at the same time and many different working widths for years to come.
