New pavers and technologies for automated road construction
Vögele, part of the WIRTGEN Group, has introduced their latest developments in automated road construction at Bauma 2025 in Munich. They presented the first wheeled paver of the Dash 5 generation, the SUPER 1803-5 X-Tier, alongside the MT 3000-5 feeder. Significant innovations include all-electric pavers such as the MINI 500e and 502e that feature electrically heated screeds and offer emission-free operation for up to 11 hours. The company also showcased automated systems like the AutoTrac steering and width control system and the Smart Pave digital control system, which use virtual references for enhanced precision and safety. Additionally, Vögele introduced the WPT Paving digital documentation tool for precise site management, integrated with the John Deere Operations Center.
