Putzmeister America, Inc. Introduces - New Oil Dehydration and Filtration System

Putzmeister America, Inc. (Putzmeister) has introduced anew 45 me Dri Dehydrator and Filter Cart, an optionfor its next generation of boom pumps, whichoffers a significantly increased water removal rate andeasy-to-use, digital ISO readout display.

 

The water removal rate on the improved dehydration and filtration system has increased by more than 30 percent compared to previous models.Water in mineral oil promotes oil degradation byaccelerated oil aging, increased foaming, reduced lubrication, oxidation/rust and deterioration of the oil additives, resulting in costly component wear, maint enance and failure.The increase in water and dirt removal from the oil helps the system run more cleanly and efficiently, and eliminates the negative effects of water and contamination in hydraulic systems.

 

“In addition to the improved efficiency of the new system, this new model also offers a digital readout on the condition of the oil and provides real-time data on how well the system is working,” said Eric Zimmermann, general manager for Putzmeister Pipe Technology.

 

The new 45 me Dri model features a large backlit digital display screen with ISO meter, monitors, and displays that provide information on moisture, particulate contamination, and temperature levels. The clear and easy-to-use display also offers data recording and storage.

 

The dehydrator and filter cart is easily connected to the reservoir in a few minutes and can lower water concentration and remove harmful contamination from the oil over a 10-12 hour period.
