At bauma 2022, Putzmeister will present many innovations from Monday, 24th October, to Sunday, 30th October – live on the trade fair grounds. Putzmeister Mortar Machines GmbH alone will present various machines for semi-dry and self-levelling floor screed, plaster, shotcrete and fine concrete applications as well as mortar machines and special applications in addition to the TransMix mobile screed factory.

As a fully fledged member of the Putzmeister Group, Putzmeister Mortar Machines GmbH develops, produces and supplies one of the world’s most extensive ranges of powerful, site-optimised plastering machines, screed conveyors and fine concrete pumps. All current developments can be seen at bauma 2022.

EstrichBoy EC 450 – fully electric compressed-air conveyor that is as powerful as a diesel machine

The EstrichBoy EC 450 with its 63 ampere is a powerful addition to the construction site. There is a reason the electric top-of-the-range model from the Brinkmann brand is so popular – it can easily go head to head with the diesel-powered competition. In addition, the machine can be switched between 63 A and 50 A with the frequency inverter. The high fuel prices are just one of many reasons why the electric screed conveyor is an appealing alternative.

Equipped with a 37 kW electric motor, the EC 450 provides 4.4 m³/h of air at 63 A. The performance is comparable to a diesel machine, but it is much more economical in terms of operating costs. Electricity is invoiced as a proportional share of the total construction site costs after all. If the site power distribution point is protected with less powerful fuses, the power input can be reduced to 50 A simply by pressing a button.

The mixer is powered hydraulically, enabling reliable overload protection and reverse running. An infinitely variable electric fan reliably keeps the machine at the ideal temperature based on the surroundings. If there is less need for cooling, the EstrichBoy is even quieter in operation.

The EstrichBoy EC 450 also has a lot on offer for machine operators, for example a robust, clearly laid out and intuitively designed operating panel and a display that is securely fitted in the control cabinet underneath the hood.

The gross weight of the fully electric compressed-air conveyor with the loader and scraper is just under 1900 kg, making it easy to transport with a variety of tractor units.

Putzmeister SP 20 GHF – lightweight self-levelling floor screed machine that complies with the current emissions standard

With its environmentally friendly petrol engine, the lightweight self-levelling floor screed machine can be used in urban areas without problems. Just like its predecessor, the SP 20 GHF is equipped with a lightweight four-cylinder petrol engine from Kubota in line with the “Stage V” emissions standard. It complies with all requirements for environmental protection – without the particle filter or regeneration cycles required for a diesel machine. This makes it significantly more economical in terms of purchasing and maintenance costs. The optimised performance management means that the new model brings a powerful 37 kW at 3000 rpm to the construction site.

It is equipped with a large 2L8 screw conveyor as standard – for up to 20 m³ of semi-dry floor screed per hour. Thanks to the radio remote control and delivery rate regulation, among other aspects, it is also very user-friendly. Operation on the machine itself is just as convenient. The robust operating panel with its backlit keypad features a simple design and the display is clearly laid out.

In addition to the new, modern design, the SP 20 GHF offers a number of innovations, for example an automatic start/stop system, a city mode for noise reduction, a vibrator with adjustable vibration patterns that is separate from the dirt area, or the quick-change system for worm parts. Already proven features, such as the acoustic warning for pumping stops and the automatic depressurising of the delivery hoses during breaks in pumping, as well as many others, are also still included in the machine.

With a gross weight of just under 750 kg, the lightweight and compact SP 20 GHF with its unbraked axle is easy to transport as a trailer. Drivers do not need a special driving licence. A braked axle is also available on request.
