For many years, PUTZMEISTER’s affiliated companies WINDWIN KG and WINTUS GmbH have been active in renewable energies in order to be top in mind and top in choice for customers and company members who all want a healthy environment.
Since 1999, wind turbines of PM sister companies produce electricity. One of their big wind turbines produces more than 5 MWh per year which equates the annual consumption of the Putzmeister Aichtal factory as visualized in the photo composition on the right and shown on our websites.
Putzmeister has achieved a lot in Aichtal since 1970** with 3 different photovoltaic installations among others on Hall 6. Shortly, there will be a new add-up with fix-type photo-voltaic panels on the new Putzmeister mortar machine factory (Hall 9) as shown here on the right.
Seven more big Enercon wind turbines each 2.3 MW on towers 108 m high – are built this year in the Czech Republic by a Wintus daughter company. Their prefabricated concrete tower segments are produced with Putzmeister Autocor units in Enercon‘s Magdeburg factory. (VM 06123**)
